Cancer Hits more than the Body. It Hits the Entire Family
Hello Patient Family,
We are creeping in on the holidays with today being Halloween. I don’t have to tell you what that means for emotional and financial stress. But imagine if you had cancer – didn’t have the best insurance – only got paid when you showed up to work – and lived 20 miles from the treatment center. What would your holidays look like? What would after the holidays look like.
A friend of mine, Ceroma Love (known as “Doc”), knows this reality all too well. He is a cancer survivor himself and recently lost his wife to cancer this past February. He started the Be the Light Foundation to help families with the financial impact of cancer that occurs “beyond” the hospital walls.
