Dr. Jared grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Elkhorn High School in 2000. After high school, he continued his education at Doane College in Crete, Nebraska. He excelled in both athletics and academics earning multiple honors in football, basketball, and baseball, as well as being a valedictorian and a Doane Scholar. In 2009, Jared earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree as well as his Masters Degree in Sports Science & Rehabilitation from Logan College of Chiropractic and University Studies, receiving the "Most Likely to Succeed" Award from Southroads Health Center.
Seeing that his practice was out-growing his space at Metro Chiropractic, Dr. Van Anne decided in late 2011 to break off and start his own practice. His dream was fulfilled on January 6, 2012 when he saw his first patient at the new office in Westport Plaza.
His amazing wife, Brooke, phenomenal son, Dax, and wonderful daughter, Ayla are his number one interests.
In his spare time, Dr. Van Anne is always looking for ways to grow and improve.
Not wanting to loose touch with his patients experiences, he maintains an active lifestyle by competing in 5K's and CrossFit and playing softball, volleyball, and golf.
Dr. Rachel was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. She went to high school at Incarnate Word Academy and then attended undergrad at DePauw University and graduated in 2005. At DePauw Dr. Rachel was an All-American softball player and an exercise physiology major. She went to Logan College of Chiropractic, where she obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Masters sport science and rehabilitation and graduated in 2012.
While at Logan Dr. Rachel coached high school softball at Incarnate Word Academy. In addition she gave private softball lessons at All-Star Performance and coach a select team, St. Louis Chaos. Most of her free time is spent coaching and working with the St. Louis Chaos softball organization. It is something she is so passionate about and loves to do.
After graduating from DePauw and no longer had the sport of softball to compete in, Dr. Rachel picked up running. She has qualified and participated in the Boston Marathon in 2011 along with a 5th place finish in the GO! STL Marathon, a 1st place finish in the Missouri Cow Bell Half Marathon, 1st place finish in the Firecracker 10K, and a 1st place finish in the Law Day Run 5K.
Dr. Rachel specializes in functional medicine and nutrition and she wants you to know the most important part about her is that her ultimate goal in life is to be truly helpful to everyone she comes in contact with. She will do whatever she can to help those reach their own goals; whether it is a patient wanting to be able to do a 95lb thruster with no pain, a person wanting to lose 5 pounds, or a 15 year old girl who dreams of getting a DI softball scholarship.
